The shower pre-filter is an essential element of the filtering system of the 50,000 liter replaceable shower filter. Its main function is to act as a first barrier against the more solid impurities present in the water, such as organic matter, grit or suspended particles.
By collecting these impurities before the water reaches the internal filter, the pre-filter helps protect the main purification system, which removes chlorine, heavy metals and other unwanted substances. This improves the performance of the filter and prolongs its service life.
It is recommended to replace the pre-filter approximately halfway through the service life of the main filter (5 to 6 months) or earlier if a decrease in water pressure is detected. In homes with special conditions, such as road works or high presence of solid waste in the supply, more frequent replacement may be necessary.
This pre-filter is fully compatible with the 50,000 liter replaceable shower filter model and is designed for quick and easy replacement.
